Meraki is a private yacht charter operated in Monaco. For the purposes of applicable data protection law, Meraki is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at any time at concierge@meraki.yacht.

We only collect what is needed to plan and manage your charter:

• ◇Contact and booking details you share with us: your name, email address, phone number, number of guests, chosen dates, and any special requests you write to us.
• ◇Charter preferences you optionally share through the Meraki Compass, our short design-your-escape experience, to help us shape your journey.
• ◇Messages you send us by email, phone or through the site.
• ◇Basic technical information such as your browser type and the pages you visit, used only to keep the site working properly.

We do not collect sensitive personal information, and we do not buy or sell personal data.

• ◇To respond to your enquiry and prepare your charter proposal.
• ◇To confirm, manage and deliver your booking, including communication before and during your voyage.
• ◇To keep an internal record of charters and guest preferences, so that returning guests are looked after personally.
• ◇To maintain the security and availability of this website.

We use your information to perform our contract with you, to comply with legal obligations, and on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a private charter service. Where we rely on your consent, for example for optional communications, you may withdraw it at any time.

Your information is shared only with those who need it to deliver your charter, for example our crew, port and provisioning partners, and the service providers who host this website and its booking system. We never sell your data, and we do not share it for marketing purposes. Some of these providers may be located outside the European Economic Area; where that is the case, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Enquiries that do not become bookings are kept for a limited period, after which they are deleted. Booking records and related guest preferences are retained for as long as necessary to manage your charter and to meet legal and accounting obligations.

You may ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, restrict or object to its use, or ask us to transfer it. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, simply write to concierge@meraki.yacht.

Your data is stored on secured infrastructure with access limited to the Meraki team and, where relevant, your crew. We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page. Significant changes will be communicated directly to guests with upcoming charters.
